"There is no greater reward than to receive recognition for something
you have created from a sheet of paper and imagination."
~ Jayne Morgan
George Bernard Shaw said, "you use a mirror of glass to see yourself,
you use works of art to see your soul."

As an artist I feel there is tremendous satisfaction found in creativity of any medium. Watercolor is an exciting experience, because of the fluidity, translucency and freshness.
I am continually inspired by the challenges of this medium. The subjects I return to most often are the Florida landscape, wildlife and floral. Masa paper offers a unique quality to my painting and I use it quite often. Also, I enjoy the diversion to abstract which gives me great freedom in expression and fun.
“Every artist dip’s his brush in his soul, and paints his own nature into his picture’s.”
Henry Ward Beicher
When Jayne relocated to Rainbow Springs, Florida, her art became a reality. She began a transition from oil to watercolor at Florida Community College, after which she studied for twelve years under noted artist Eloise Gardiner Giles.
"For the past years that I have been establishing myself as a recognized watercolorist in Northern Central Florida.”
“ I have been inspired by many artists, but most of all my mother who started me on this long journey, which at times has been wonderful, frustrating, maddening but always fulfilling.”
