"Since I was a child I was interested
in drawing things that hit my imagination. I love painting Florentine
landscapes and little corners, the attitudes of all creatures,
the look of the flower... and trying to stop that moment in
time when I vibrate as one with all this beauty. I still go
to Italy and France often, and every time the desire to stop
the time of certain situations in life grows in me."

I was born in Italy. In my school years there was the war and no art school that I could attend. I kept drawing, on every piece of paper.
After the war we lived in Bologna where my enjoyment was to visit the art gallery and to visit artists in their studios. I was fascinated. Bologna is a medieval city (the University dates from the year 1200) and every corner is art. Later I went to live in Florence for a few years. Florence is like a lace city -- I loved the landscapes, the different vegetation and, of course, the art.
Since leaving Florence I have lived in five different countries, and
everywhere there are things that I admire. The world is beautiful! My
husband, knowing my love for art, gave me a set of oil paints. As a learning
process I began to copy paintings by Gino Marzocchi, an artist from Bologna
with whom I had studied. Quite a few years later I had the opportunity
to work with a wonderful and very dedicated teacher for more than ten
years.
